Two years ago Bear Hands broke through the alt-pop surface with their bouncy and driven 2014 hit “Giants”. Since then, the Brooklyn based group has spent time locked away in a California cabin to write their newest release You’ll Pay For This. With tracks like “2AM” and “Too Young”, their latest album takes a more somber look at their late twenties, exploring the confusing transition that occurs as one rolls into adulthood.

We talked with vocalist-slash-guitarist Dylan Rau about his favorite venues in Brooklyn, rubber deer hooves, and Bear Hands' intimate Sofar Sounds set in Washington, DC. Check it out below!
